Is it just me...or are people blogging less?

I mean - I know I am not blogging as much this year as last year. I have a few reasons for that: too busy, not as much fun anymore, don't want to waste people's time if I don't have anything to say.

But it seems like other people (at least, people I subscribe too) feel the same. Maybe bloggers are running out of things to say? Maybe they thought blogging would be more profitable? Maybe they are getting bored with it?

All I know is that I subscribe to about 50 feeds and read about 50 posts a day (80% of those posts are from 4 or 5 feeds). Last year this time it was more like 50 feeds, 100 posts. Is this a trend? Is blogging going out of fashion?
